School Board Point of Pride Awards November 2024

The following Point of Pride awards were presented by the School Board on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

The Clarksville High School Girls’ and Boys’ golf teams reached the finals of the TSSAA State Golf Championships a few weeks ago. The Girls’ team placed 3rd and the Boys’ team placed 5th. Congratulations, Wildcats!

The Kenwood High School Knight’s Raider Team competed in the Challenge Division at the 2024 JROTC National Raider Championships in Fort Knox, KY. After an intense competition against teams across the nation, the Knight’s Raider Team placed third overall in the nation. Congratulations, cadets!

Kirkwood High School won the 2024 TSBA New School Construction School of the Year Award. This prestigious award recognizes Lyle Cook Martin Architects and Rufus Johnson Associates for their collaboration and excellence in design. We are grateful to have these two talented and dedicated partners to design exceptional schools that our entire community can be proud of. As a reminder, Lyle Cook Martin won this award last year for Kirkwood Middle School, and this is the first time ever that CMCSS schools won these awards back-to-back. Congratulations, and thank you both!
