Hello! My name is Jennifer Gilstrap, and I am the Developmental Preschool teacher at Kirkwood Elementary. I am excited to begin my third year at Kirkwood and proud to have been part of opening our school. Watching our Kirkwood community grow has been an incredible experience!

As a lifelong Clarksville resident and CMCSS graduate, I am honored to serve the community that helped shape me. I earned my bachelor's degree in Special Education from Austin Peay State University, my master's degree in Reading, and my Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from Liberty University.

I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing classroom where every child can grow and succeed. I look forward to partnering with your family this school year. If you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected] or 931-919-6812. I can't wait to meet you and your child!
