Hello! This is my second year at Kirkwood Elementary School. Yet, this is my 21st year in education. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from North Dakota State University and a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of North Dakota. I have an Educational Specialist Degree in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Colorado. I have taught special education from kindergarten to 12th grade. I have taught 2nd and 3rd grades and middle school History. I also have five years of experience as a school administrator. I have taught in Colorado, Texas, Florida, South Korea and Germany.

I am a combat Veteran having served in the US Army for eight years. My husband is an Air Force Veteran. We enjoy traveling and time with our children who are in college in Pennsylvania and Florida.

Every day, I look forward to my day in our classroom. I truly enjoy teaching and supporting my young Cobras!
